Chicago Illinois-Chicago World Financial Center, known as the "hometown of skyscrapers", one of the most important cultural, scientific and educational centers in the United States, with the world's top universities University of Chicago of the University of Chicago, Northwestern University of Northwestern University and the world-renowned Chicago School, more than 100 Nobel Prize winners have worked and studied in Illinois in Chicago. The affiliated College of the University of Chicago is a K12 school with more than 2200 students; it belongs to the world-famous University of Chicago (QS World University ranks 10th). The laboratory was founded in 1896 by legendary philosopher and educator John Dewey. It is the first experimental school in the United States.
